Jeanne Posthumus- Board of Directors
Jeanne is advocate for children and adults with developmental disabilities. Jeanne’s passion for improving the lives of our most vulnerable citizens was born out of her own personal experience. In March of 2005, Jeanne and her husband, John Posthumus, welcomed their first child, Olivia Rose, into their lives. At 5 months of age, Olivia was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder, one that has caused Olivia severe medical complications and developmental delays.
In February 2007, a few months after the birth of her second child, Nate, Jeanne resigned from Charles Schwab & Co. after over 12 years of service. While at Charles Schwab, Jeanne worked in the project management, sales, trading and operations for Schwab’s Institutional division, often being specially tasked with high priority and complex projects.
Jeanne, John and their children Olivia and Nate live in Denver, Colorado. Interests include reading, travel, cooking, art, design and spending time with family and friends.
Jeanne’s past philanthropic contributions include chairing for three consecutive years the silent auction committee for the Denver Tri Delta Alumni annual fundraiser for Denver Children’s Hospital Oncology department. More recently, Jeanne co-chaired for two consecutive years the silent auction committee for the Denver Adult Down Syndrome Clinic’s annual fundraiser.
Jeanne holds a BS in business administration from Oklahoma State University, with minors in accounting and economics.
